What have we done this year?
Public Consultations
Redesigned our public consultations area, making it easier for people to have their say.
Interactive Mapping
Created a new system making it easier for people to find the information they need.
Councillor and Committee information
Improved the way councillor and committee information is displayed on our site.
Adult Education
We have redesigned the way people can search for adult education courses.
Video clips
Rather than keep to static pictures and text, we are now starting to add video clips to the site to make it more interactive.
Bus timetables
You can now get real time information direct to your mobile phone telling you the time of the next bus to your stop.
New Sections
Northamptonshire County Council is now responsible for parking enforcement in Corby, Wellingborough, East Northamptonshire and South Northamptonshire as well as Northampton. We have added information about these new arrangements to our website.
Customer feedback
We are now collecting detailed feedback from people using our site, giving honest feedback about the experience. We will be using this to help us redesign the site this year to make it as usable and accessible as possible - and make sure the information we have on the site is answering the questions people need to know.
