Northamptonshire County Council aims to be an excellent authority where it will monitor all approved contracts throughout the contract period and will subject suppliers to regular performance reviews.
We will ensure that supplier’s quality and performance outputs provide fit for purpose goods or levels of service and that these levels are maintained or improved over the life of the contract.
Effective Contract Management combined with robust change/variation control will address issues where contractors fail to deliver in accordance with the specification, or where contracts are poorly administered and when monitoring information we request is not provided on a timely basis.
In return we will take positive actions to address issues that contractors have when interfacing with the council and our citizens, ensuring these are backed up by relevant evidence.
