Vocational Training Centre

Since 1990 the Vocational Training Centre has offered a range of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and training solutions for County Council Staff and the Private/Voluntary sector.  

We have recently expanded our services to include other training opportunities.  We currently have a friendly team of 30 Assessors and Training Officers with a supporting admin team. 

An NVQ is a popular method of achieving a qualification, a candidate can start at any time and move through their award as quickly as they choose with no written exams or tests.

All assessment is carried out at the candidate's place of employment to avoid disruption in the flow of work.
