Broadcast your ceremony live on-line
If you are having your ceremony at Kettering Register Office, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to broadcast it live on the internet to family and friends anywhere in the world. Kettering is the first Northamptonshire office to use webstream technology which means there will be constant sound and vision.
This service is open to any ceremony taking place in the Register office including Naming, Renewal of Vows, Commitment ceremonies, Civil Partnerships and of course marriages.
The cost of having your ceremony broadcast over the internet will be £50 which also includes a DVD of the ceremony. To organise this and for further information please see contact details on the right.
How people can watch your ceremony on-line
Whilst your ceremony will be broadcast on-line, it will be accessible by password only, so you will have complete control over who is watching your ceremony.
Once you have contacted the Superintendent Registrar at Kettering and paid the appropriate fee, we will make the necessary arrangements for your on-line ceremony. You will be sent a password which will enable you to login to the system. You can then enter a maximum of 30 e-mail addresses for your guests, who will automatically be sent an electronic invitation, giving details of your ceremony together with a password and login information.
Prior to the ceremony your guests should login and undertake a compatibility check on their computer to ensure that they are able to view the ceremony satisfactorily. Should they experience any problems there is a support line via e-mail which they should contact.
Your guests do have the opportunity once they have viewed your ceremony to send their congratulations via an electronic guestbook.
After the ceremony has taken place it will be archived for two months, during which time it can be watched again.
