Capital Funding for 2008-2009
Following the outcome of Northamptonshire County Council’s budget proposals for the Medium Term Capital Programme for 2008–12, and due to significant pressures on the Capital Budget, there will not be a Voluntary and Community Sector Capital Funding Programme for 2008–2009. As a result, no new applications will be accepted.
For those organisations that submitted Stage 1 applications in 2006-07 or 2007-08 and were notified that their Stage 1 application was successful and that the organisation has been earmarked for funding, this will continue to be honoured. Stage 2 applications will need to be submitted to the VSSU when other funding and necessary permissions have been secured.
The Stage 2 application deadlines and meeting dates for 2008-09 are being scheduled and will be published on this website shortly.
Organisations have a period of 2 years from the date of the Stage 1 earmarked decision date within which to submit a Stage 2 application. Organisations will be notified individually of their deadline for submission to Stage 2 as these will vary dependant on when the decision to earmark was made. The final deadline for applications is December 2009.

Application Form and Meeting Dates
To complete the application form and submit electronically, click onto the 'Application Form' link below, then click 'save', choose a suitable location on your own computer to save the file. Then open the file you have saved on your computer to complete the form electronically.
Once you have completed the application form electronically, remember to save it first and email a copy to vssu@northamptonshire.gov.uk. We will, however, still require a signed copy of the application form to be posted to us as well.
