John Nethercoat (d. 1867), the son of Roger Nethercoat of Clipston (d. 1800), purchased Moulton Grange in 1825. The family already had estates in Clipston and neighbouring parishes. He was succeeded by his son Henry Osmond Nethercote (d. 1886) After his widow's death the Grange was let and eventually bought by Harry Manfield M.P.
