The 'Aid to Sharing Information with confidence' document has been jointly developed by Northamptonshire County Council and Northamptonshire Police in consultation with key organisations within the county.
It is not a protocol for information sharing. As the title of the document suggests, it aims to be an aid; guidance which facilitates and promotes purposeful and lawful sharing of information between the public, private and voluntary sectors so that members of the public receive the services they need.
