Code of conduct for Councillors

The Code of Conduct

The council's code of conduct is a set of 'rules' that councillors and co-opted members must adhere to. It is based on ten principles:

    1. Selflessness
    2. Personal judgement
    3. Honesty and integrity
    4. Respect for others
    5. Objectivity
    6. Duty to uphold the law
    7. Accountability
    8. Stewardship
    9. Openness
    10. Leadership
