Councillor Judy Shephard is the Chairman of Northamptonshire County Council
Judy has been a Conservative County Councillor for the Moulton Division within Northamptonshire since 1997. She became the current Chairman of Northamptonshire County Council in May 2008, a position she is very proud and honoured to hold.
Judy's chosen charities for her year in office are SSAFA (Soldiers Sailors and Airmen Families Association) and Facefax a local charitable support group for sufferers of Head Throat Mouth and Neck cancers, that her sister Carol co-founded after she was diagnosed with throat cancer.

Judy has served on many committees within the County Council and is presently Chairman of the Development Control Committee. She is also a member of Boughton & Pitsford Liaison forums, Secretary of Boughton Conservatives, Chairman of the Richard Humfrey Charitable Trust and is a member of Boughton Parish Council, a Governor of Moulton School and a member of the Shadow Executive of the Northamptonshire Healthcare Trust.
Judy was born and educated in Northamptonshire and is very proud of her roots. Judy is also Chairman of The Boughton Belles Committee that has to date raised over £45,000 for charitable causes.
