A radical refocusing of resources to protect front-line services and council taxpayers is at the heart of Northamptonshire County Council's budget.
The council's budget has been drafted to help the council face-up to delivering services for one of the fastest growing counties in the country after receiving one of the lowest government grants. It aims to tackle these issues without affecting front-line services or council tax payers.
