Schools Waste Education Officer

The Schools Waste Education Officer (SWEO) is available to visit schools throughout Northamptonshire. The SWEO, Kirsten Jefferies, is a fully qualified teacher who can deliver a number of curriculum based lessons to your school that highlight the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling the rubbish we produce.

The SWEO can be booked to deliver assemblies, teach a waste themed lesson or help run a workshop aimed at encouraging your pupils to do more to protect the natural environment and to increase the eco-credentials of your school.

The SWEO can provide materials, support and resources tailored to the needs of all pupils from Key Stage 1 through to 4.

Advice and help is also available to schools wishing to become, or already are Eco-Schools.

All sessions are completely free.

Contact Kirsten Jefferies to book a visit or enquire about availability.

Telephone: 01604 237633 or 07764210815 or email: kjefferies@northamptonshire.gov.uk
