Your County Council and Climate Change

The government's chief scientist, Dr David King, has described climate change as:

"the greatest collective challenge we have ever had to face"

But what is climate change? Will it really affect us here in Northamptonshire? Is anything being done about it, and how can you play a part?

Climate change will affect everyone in the UK, and has already started. Find out about current changes and future predictions, and why they matter to councils and communities in this county.

There are many ways in which climate change might affect local life, and services such as: transport; health; and the management of green spaces.
