Supporting People is a national Government programme that is changing the way that sheltered housing and supported housing services are funded.

Decisions about funding sheltered housing and supported housing services are made by a partnership of local bodies. The partnership also makes sure that support services in Northamptonshire are good quality, are where people need them, and provide the support that people need and want.

The partners are:

• Corby Borough Council
• Daventry District Council
• East Northamptonshire District Council
• Kettering Borough Council
• Northampton Borough Council
• South Northamptonshire Council
• Wellingborough Borough Council
• National Probation Service (Northamptonshire)
• Northamptonshire PCT

Northamptonshire County Council administers the Supporting People programme on behalf of these partners.
