Have you found a course in our brochure that you would like to do, but there are financial barriers preventing you from enrolling?
A bursary is a non repayable grant that can reduce the level of your fees or contribute towards other expenses such as childcare, books or transport.
These grants are available to all learners who have additional special circumstances or are experiencing temporary financial hardship (even if they are also entitled to reduced or remitted fees).
Examples of such circumstances may be:
- that you have caring responsibilities
- have recently been bereaved
- your doctor has advised you to participate on health grounds.
This is not an exhaustive list and each case is considered on its merits. The level of the bursary awarded will vary from person to person and could be equivalent to a full concession.
There are no length forms to complete. You can phone 01604 237102 (ask for Claire Ward) for a telephone interview, email ceward@northamptonshire,gov.uk or arrange a time to visit us and your needs will be discussed.
These grants are discretionary and are subject to the availability of bursary funds.
