Early Years - information for parents

If you have never accessed formal childcare before, or you are looking for the right childcare provision to suit your needs, we will support you wherever possible to ensure that childcare isn’t a barrier.

  • County toy library
    An extensive choice of toys/equipment that can be borrowed for a small charge for up to three months.

  • Early Education Funding
    All three and four year old children in Northamptonshire are eligible for a free early education place for six terms per year before they reach statutory school age.

  • Pre-schools - special educational needs
    If you have a child who has special educational needs, help may be available.
