Setting up a pre-school/playgroup facility

These are often set up in rented buildings such as a village hall. Your local school may also have a room available to rent. This has obvious advantages in forming relationship with and the children’s transition to the school, and who may already have older siblings in school.

Expanding Existing Provision
Northamptonshire EYCC do offer grants to expand existing hours to 3 and half  to allow take up of Early Education Funding. This could be for one or more sessions per week – giving settings the chance to extend their hours gradually, in accordance with need.
