The annual conference this year, will be looking at the partnership arrangements within the Local Area Agreement, in which Teenage Pregnancy has a stretch target. The day will be opened by Martin Pratt, Head of Services for Children in Northamptonshire.
New publications from the DfES on the teenage pregnancy strategy will be introduced, and those participating will be challenged to look at "Next Steps", and "Accelerating towards 2010".
During the afternoon, there will be workshops on a variety of topics, as well as the launch of recruitment for people to become trainers for the Innovative national programme being introduced into Northamptonshire called "Teens and Toddlers".
