Harnessing Technology Strategy
The government has launched the eagerly awaited Harnessing Technology: Next Generation Learning Strategy 2008-2014 which provides a national framework for the development of a new and dynamic Harnessing Technology Strategy for Northamptonshire. A copy of the main document may be found below, together with a summary.
The headline Learning Targets are provided below:
- To enable schools to provide a personalised learning space with the potential to support e-portfolios by 2008. Delivery of this action will be supported through implementation of learning platforms.
- To enable schools to deliver online reporting and parental engagement - Secondary Schools by 2010, Primary Schools by 2012.
