If the decision is taken to close your school you will need to identify this in the online schools directory so that parents/guardians are aware.
How do I close my school?
- Navigate to the school's extranet,
(You will need your school's username and password)
- Select Emergency School Closure option from the right hand navigation
- Step by step Instructions are available to assist you with the closure procedure
As soon as you confirm the closure the information is available to the public via the online schools directory
What if I haven't got my login details?
- Telephone us on 01604 236190, a member of staff will be able to provide these for you
- It would be a good idea to keep a note of your username and password with you at all times should you need to notify us of a closure but may not be in the school
Do I still need to let radio stations know?
- Head Teachers no longer need to telephone radio stations unless they are unable to access the online school closures application
How can I check to see if my school is closed?
- Search the Schools Directory for your school - a red closed entry will be displayed with additional information if you have supplied this
