LASI Services
LASI offers a wide range of service and support for schools including:

Courses, conferences and workshops delivered during the school day, at twilight sessions, and weekends – activities which cover all aspects of the work of schools.

Courses focusing on the specific professional development needs of individual teachers at different stages in their careers (eg newly qualified teachers, subject leaders, aspiring deputies).

Links to national initiatives (for example National Professional Qualification for Headship, Performance Management, Graduate Teacher Scheme and workforce remodelling).

Expert, up to date advice and guidance across all National Curriculum core and foundation subjects, religious education and inclusive practice.

Activities to complement and extend work related to the achievement of the priority areas in interim children and young peoples plan.

Information and guidance on whole school issues, including team management, strategic planning, raising standards, PSHE and assessment for learning.

Through our inspection and advisory service we offer:

Consultancy tailored to meet the needs of an individual school or Area Improvement Partnership and cluster basis across all aspects of school life.

Programmes and activities individually designed and delivered to meet schools’ priority needs.

Continuing professional development activities for specific needs of clusters, groups or phases of schools, including the Education Action Zone (EAZ) and Excellence Clusters.

Advisory work relating to the implementation of national strategies (Performance Management, National Primary Strategy, National Grid for Learning, Inclusion, citizenship, KS3 Strategies which include literacy, numeracy, science, ICT, teaching an learning, and behaviour and attendance in all foundation subjects).

To compliment these we also offer a wide range of consultancy and training packages tailored made to suit the needs of individuals, departments, whole staff groups, individual school settings, clusters/groups of schools including the new Area Improvement Partnerships.
