Sywell Country Park

 Winner of 2007 Green Flag Award

Sywell Country Park offers meadowland and
lakeside walks, with a small arboretum of exotic trees and Edwardian buildings still surviving from its past role as a water supply reservoir with a water works heritage trail to guide you round.

Park Information

  • Free Admission - car parking charge of £2.00 on pay and display basis.
    Annual car parking tickets available. 
  • Park open all day, every day.
  • Car Park and toilets open 9:00am to 5:00pm daily (except Christmas Day).
  • Sywell Country Park shop open 10:00am to 4:00pm every day except Christmas Day to New Year's Day inclusive.
  • Hot and cold refreshments (including ice-creams) are available from the Country Park shop when open.
  • Designated picnic areas.
  • Circular, waymarked and hard-surfaced trails through woodlands and meadows or by rivers, lakes and reservoirs
  • Children's play and activity areas
  • Open spaces for ball games, kite flying and dog walking
  • Quiet areas to relax and enjoy the peace or watch the local wildlife
  • Wheelchair loan & electric buggy hire
  • Coarse fishing
  • Orienteering trails
  • Boules courts
  • Countryside Ranger Service - ranger usually on site 9:00am to 5:00pm daily
  • Coarse fishing.
