Do it yourself services
Photocopying
- A4 Black and White: £0.10 per sheet. Multiple copies at £0.06 per sheet for a minimum of 50 copies from 1 original.
- A3 Black and White: £0.15 per sheet. Multiple copies at £0.10 per sheet for a minimum of 50 copies from 1 original
Printing - there is a laser printer networked to the computers in all libraries:
- A4 Black and White: £0.15 per sheet. Multiple copies at £0.09 per sheet for a minimum of 50 from one original.
- A4 Colour: £0.30 per A4 sheet. Multiple copies at £0.18 per sheet for a minimum of 50 from one original.

- Please note the printers take library paper only (no personal paper)
- You may need to hire a computer to use the printer: £1.00 per 20 minutes
Scanning - each library has a basic scanner:
- Scans can only be stored on personal floppy disks or memory sticks (thumb drive).
- It has limited optical character recognition (OCR) capability
- You will need to hire a computer to use the scanner: £1.00 per 20 minutes

CD-ROM A4 printouts (from library resources only, not from personal CDs):

Companies House Direct:
- Company appointments / personal appointments, Mortgage index, Mortgage charge detail, document downloads: £1.60 (includes handling fee)

- Permission fees for reproduction of Local Studies images in other formats, eg TV: £95.00 per item + VAT
- Town and Country Albums: A4 at £6.00 and A3 at £10.00
Research (genealogy, business enquiries etc)
Personal Knowledge Adviser Service
Exhibitions - commission on sale of pictures etc
- 20% + VAT with a minimum charge of £40.00 +VAT irrespective of sales
