There are lots of fun activities in libraries for children and families. 

Big Picture Party - October 2008

In October libraries in Northamptonshire will be offering a range of activities which are aimed at encouraging families to talk about their favourite picture books, what makes an illustration so attractive and to even have a go at drawing some themselves. 

• Big Picture Party

Some of our regular activities include:

• Chatterbooks
  Reading groups for children aged 8 -10 years old which meet monthly to chat about books and do activities.
  
  
• Rhymetimes for Under 5s
  Regular sessions for under 5s (and their adults) in some of Northamptonshire's libraries. A great opportunity for mums to meet and for children to have fun singing rhymes together.
