Children and Young People

Libraries are fun!

In your library you can find books to read and listen to and computers with fun websites. There are lots of activities to do on your own or with your family.

Looking for something to do in the school holidays? Use the Activities link on the right hand side of this page to find out what's happening in your local library.

Some of our regular activities include:

  • Chatterbooks
Reading groups for children aged 8 -10 years old which meet monthly to chat about books and do activities.

  • Rhymetimes for Under 5s
Regular sessions for under 5s (and their adults) in some of Northamptonshire's libraries. A great opportunity for mums to meet and for children to have fun singing rhymes together.

Choose one of the links on the right to find out more about what we've got for children and young people.
