This is the service for people who due to age, illness or disability are
- Unable to get to their local library or
- Able to visit the library to choose but unable to carry books home
- And have no-one to rely on to visit the library for them
The service, including membership, is free.
How does it work?
- A librarian visits you at home to discuss your needs.
- You can select for yourself or library staff will select for you according to your tastes and requirements.
- Volunteers then deliver the service every month.
