There are round 1000,000 images within the Northamptonshire Studies collections. These include:
- photographs (c 1870 to the present)
- slides
- postcards
- prints and engravings (eighteenth and nineteenth century).
They include views of Northamptonshire on a wide range of subjects and also family and individual portraits.
The main collection is in Northamptonshire Central Library, smaller collections are available in Brackley, Daventry, Kettering and Wellingborough Libraries.
