Enquire Direct is the Libraries and Information Service's online and telephone enquiry service. We welcome enquiries from anyone who lives, works or studies in Northamptonshire, or who would like information about the county

To help us answer your enquiry please provide us with as much detail as possible, including any sources you've already used.
We will:
- Give information sources for a particular topic, but cannot undertake original research or provide written essay answers.
- Reply with factual and documented answers - we cannot give opinions or advice.
- Respond to your questions quickly and correctly and within five working days. If you do not receive a response within two weeks, it is likely we have incomplete contact details and have been unable to reply. Please contact us again.
- Contact you if your enquiry incurs charges before undertaking the work.
- Direct you to local legal specialists and advisers, but cannot offer legal guidance of any kind.
- Refer you to closer, or more appropriate, sources of information if you live outside Northamptonshire.
