Project Loans Explained
What is a Project Loan?
A project box consist of 20 - 25 items covering a range of interest and ability levels within a key stage or year group.
It contains the best available books, and where possible, details of recommended websites, wall charts, photopacks, teacher's notes and AV materials.
There are 4 types of projects available for schools to order:

Black Boxes |
Tailored to individual teacher's requests, selected from the showroom shelves, please provide as much detail as possible.

Green Boxes
Group Readers |
Multiple copies of different titles to support groups undertaking guided reading.
|
|
Red and Blue Boxes
Pre-Packed |
Areas of heaviest demand in the National Curriculum. Some themed fiction and author collections available including display bins.

Storysacks |
A storysack is a bag containing children's books with supporting materials to stimulate reading activities and make shared reading a memorable and enjoyable experience. The sack contains a soft toy of the book's main character, fiction books, a non-fiction book on the same theme and a language based game.

When can I request my project box?
Projects may be requested at any time. Teachers and school librarians are welcome to visit the LRE showroom, to make up their own projects from the shelves.

When will my box arrive?
Projects boxes are delivered to schools at the start of each term and half term. If you are in a hurry, they can be collected by arrangement from LRE at Riverside Park.
