Cathy has written a number of popular titles for teens including the Mates Dates and Truth Dare series. Her most recent books are part of a series called Cinnamon Girl. On her website you can read Cathy's Blog which has all the latest news from the author and find out even more by visiting her frequently asked questions page. Make sure you also look at the Foreign Editions area which displays front covers from all over the world and the photo page which has photographs of author tours and school visits. By signing up to Cathy's Club you can also have access to downloads, a gallery and message board, receive updates and enter competitions.

Gemma Malley's futuristic novel The Declaration is at www.bloomsbury.com/thedeclaration Find out about the author's inspiration for this story set in an overcrowded world where people live far longer and are obsessed with the idea of cheating death using whatever means it takes. It is told from the viewpoint of a young girl, Anna classified as a Surplus slave who starts to question a society where youth has no place - with startling results. The beautifully drawn Spiderwick Chronicles website at www.spiderwick.com and the informative and interactive Spiderwick Chronicles film site at www.spiderwickchronicles.com have areas to delight all Spiderwick fans. The book site includes an art gallery of fantastical species, an in depth creatures information section and a large choice of downloads including a faerie knowledge quiz, masks and dolls to make and an entire board game with its own playing cards. There is also book information about the adventures of main characters Mared, Simon and Jared Grace and biographical details about author Holly Black and illustrator Tony DiTerlizzi.

The film site features a large selection of games to try including Siege on Spiderwick Mansion and Escape the Grove. There is a Gallery to send in your drawings, book cover wallpapers to download and a News and Events area to catch up with the author's travels and visits. The Fun and Games section is bursting with things to try and do including the Lamonic Bibber Soundboard and Mr Gum's Garden Dash game. Regular competitions and Prize Draws can be entered and questions about the books sent in through the Ask Andy Stanton question section. Recommended is the amusing and informative Lamonical Chronicle newspaper which can be subscribed to so that issues are sent directly to you by e-mail!

A website devoted to Rick Riordan's fast moving adventures of Percy Jackson is at www.percyjackson.co.uk Join Percy and his friends on his quest to discover more about himself now that he knows he is the son of the sea god Poseidon, and does battle with numerous mythological foes along the way. Read an in depth Who's Who of the gods and find out what their favourite books are! Fans can send in an Ask the Gods question which the author will answer and publish on the website. There is an interactive map of the regions to explore where Percy's encounters with monsters, demons and gods have taken place. Visit the Oracle to see if your destiny is revealed. Downloads include wallpaper, video clips of interviews with major characters and a newsletter to sign up for.

Brian Selznick's intriguing Adventures of Hugo Cabret at www.theinventionofhugocabret.com tells the tale of Hugo a young clock keeper and thief living in the walls of a bustling Parisian railway station. He puts his faith in re-building a wind up mechanical toy which he believes holds the key to his happiness. Like the book this site combines elements of graphic novel, picture book and film. You can view a slide show of the drawings from the book's opening sequence. Learn more about ideas and people behind the story including the world of silent film and early film makers and automata. There are links to author interviews and Hugo Cabret sites in Italian and Spanish. Whilst the Taiwanese website includes an amazing animation featuring the drawings of the book's illustrator Remy Charlip.

Mike Wilks imaginary adventure story Mirrorscape is at www.mirrorscape.co.uk/index.asp Enter a world ruled by the Fifth Mysteries where creative talents are restricted to those who can afford them and everyone's lives are controlled. Talented artist Mel enrols as an apprentice at master painter Ambrosius Blenk's studio. With his friends Ludo and Wren he discovers how to step into paintings and enter an amazing world where nothing is what is seems...This site has a game called Pipe Pigment Pandemonium to try and downloads include a screensaver and wallpaper. Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell's fantasy Edge Chronicles series website is at www.stewartandriddell.co.uk. Fans of the nine books (so far) in the series can read biographies of the heroes in each trilogy Quint, Rook and Twig. You can delve into illustrated profiles about some of the amazing creatures that inhabit this world including  Banderbears, Rotsuckers and Hover Worms. For those new to some of the stories, taster extracts from all the books can be read including the latest title The Lost Barkscrolls. There is a fan club to sign up to which gives you access to extra content on the site. Enter this site at your peril and dare to look in Henry's locker to read Henry's favourite horrible poem and special glop recipes sent in by fans. Sign up for news alerts, send e-cards, download wallpaper and listen to Horrid Henry's Birthday Party. There are photographs to explore of Henry's family and his fellow pupils, plus information about Francesca Simon and all her Horrid Henry books.

Meet HI Larry's exciting boy spy Zac Power series at www.zacpower.com whose main character as usual has 24 hours to save the world and tidy his room! Catch up on mission and field notes and view the gadgets and enemies Zac faces during his adventures. Download an author interview and wallpapers about each book in the series. Enter the regular competitions and register for the restricted access area to discover more about Zac Power's future missions. J.K Rowling's excellent official website at www.jkrowling.com has been created to look like a busy and cluttered writer's desk full of interactive links for Harry Potter fans to explore. There are news, rumours, character and cut scene details and hints about all the Harry Potter books including the  final title Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The author diary and very detailed frequently asked questions pages make fascinating reading and show what a unique relationship JK Rowling has with her readers. You can also discover which character from the series may be celebrating a birthday...
