Northamptonshire's Schools CILIP Carnegie Medal Shadowing Groups in action!

Reading groups in schools across the county have taken part with great enthusiasm in the shadowing process for the CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library & Information Professionals) Carnegie Medal for an outstanding book for children and young people, published from September 2006 to the end of August 2007.

LRE Advisers took part in a number of lively shadowing events involving debate and discussion of the criteria with shadowing groups. These included students from Bishop Stopford School,  Kingsbrook Specialist Business and Enterprise College, Southfield School for Girls, Woodnewton Learning Community, Kingswood School, Lodge Park Technology College, Wellingborough School, Sponne School Technology College, Campion School, Brooke Weston City Technology College and Roade School & Sports College.
