Every year, people die and many more are injured in fires at work. The responsibility falls on management to ensure their staff are sufficiently trained in fire safety matters.
As part of the Fire and Rescue Service, we are here to deliver training courses to staff at industrial and commercial premises in order to raise awareness and ensure that companies meet the following requirements:
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
- The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 (as amended 1999)
Using professional Fire Safety Officers, we offer a range of training courses to suit the needs of your organisation (costs vary, details supplied upon application).
The following courses are available:
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service now also offer a suit of fire safety training courses which you can use towards an Advanced BTEC Award in Fire Safety Management. The course requires attendance at the three courses listed below below, plus an enrolment fee with Edexcel, Clarify IT, and FRM. Clarify IT provide the online assessment system for the qualification.
