Tariffs
Northamptonshire County Council has several spaces available for on street parking.
As of Sunday 10 August 2008, the cost of on-street parking has increased from 40p to 50p for up to half an hour, and from 80p to £1 for an hour.
Please note: machines are not equipped to give change.
There are some 2 hour, 3 hour and 4 hour ‘On Street’ pay and display bays available. ( See the tariff board for details). There are also disabled, motorcycles and taxi spaces available on street.
Reporting a Faulty Parking machine
On occasion parking machines develop faults. This may result in your money not being registered at all by the machine or a loss of coins. Each machine will have a telephone number on it which you can call if there is a problem.
You can use another machine in the same street as long as the same charges apply.
It is the motorist's responsibility to check the departure time on the pay and display ticket.
