Community access and language service (CALS) aim is to enable equal access to information and services for all communities by providing a comprehensive interpretation and translation service.
Our services are available to individuals, public, private and voluntary sectors organisations in Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.
We have vast experience of working in a range of settings. Some examples are provided below:
Health (hospital and GP appointments); Housing; Child protection; Job applications; National Insurance; Law Court sessions and Legal issues.
Our interpreters are trained; impartial and respect confidentiality at all times. All CALS interpreters undergo enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks and work to a strict Code of Conduct
We provide face to face interpreting in over 30 languages.
