In some circumstances it may be necessary to conduct an interpreting session by telephone, eg in an emergency or to convey an appointment time.
This service is provided indirectly via LANGUAGE LINE. If you are unsure about how to access this service please follow the procedure set out below.

- State the Department/Organisation you work for
- CALS will then provide you with your specific LANGUAGE LINE ID Code if your organisation subscribes to this service.
You may then telephone Language Line, we will give you the number.
IMPORTANT: LANGUAGE LINE cannot accept your call without an ID Code.
