The purpose of the Residential Care Homes register is to provide information on the Northamptonshire area, to all those seeking residential and nursing care funded by Northamptonshire County Council.
It lists all those homes that provide care for older people that have contracts with the County Council. Download the complete list using the link below.
The preferred independent homes are listed alphabetically, by geographical location (District and Borough Council areas). Approved independent homes and the County Council homes are listed alphabetically, by geographical location.
The listing of homes is intended to assist individuals in making choices about homes and does not in any way guarantee that placements will be made in individual homes.
All prospective residents and/or their families should make as many enquiries as possible before choosing a Home.
This should always include reading the Home's Statement of Purpose and their latest Inspection Report provided by the The Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) which should be freely available in the Home, or can be accessed via the CSCI website - see Related Links at the bottom of this page.
