- Care & Repair Agencies
Care and Repair offer a wide range of services - mainly to older people and/or disabled people living in the private sector housing, owner-occupiers or private tenants.
- Could you become a home care assistant?
Our home care assistants help people live as independently as possible for as long as possible in their own homes.
- Equipment and adaptations
If you have a disability, are elderly, or have a long term illness, you may be entitled to help with equipment or adaptations for your home.
- Help leaving hospital
If you are going into hospital you may need help when you come home, contact the Adult Care Team to find out if we can help.
- Home care
Care in the home can be offered to people who require assistance, contact the Adult Care Team for details.
- Meals on wheels
We can deliver meals to elderly or disabled people in their own homes if following an assessment of their needs, they are eligible for social care support. Meals can be provided on a short or long term basis according to need.
- Occupational therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people live more productive lives. It enables people with disabilities to carry out essential activities, with the aim of maintaining or improving independence.
- Telecare
Northamptonshire Telecare Service was launched in July 2007 following the successful ‘Safe at Home’ pilot scheme which ran from 1999-2003. Telecare includes a wide range of sensors and detectors that are designed to improve safety in the home.
