Below are some example profiles of children and young people requiring foster care:
Annie
Annie is a very affectionate and lively eight year old who greatly enjoys one to one times, especially with adults.
She is very artistic and enjoys anything creative, particularly drawing and modelling with Plasticine. Annie is also imaginative and likes storytelling, drama, singing and dancing and watching videos - particularly the Simpsons.
Recently Annie has been enjoying sports activities, swimming and outings to the park, particularly with the family dog. She is very caring and responsible towards pets ands would love there to be a cat in her new family.
Annie is in foster care because it was not possible for her to carry on living with her mother or father. She has close feelings for her siblings and enjoys meeting up with them three times a year in the school holidays.
