Partners in Northamptonshire share the Government’s aspiration to deliver a service to and in partnership with children, young people and their families and carers. To do this we need to
- Build a world-class workforce for Children and Young People
- Recruit more people into the workforce
- Develop and retain more people within the workforce
- Strengthen joint working by workforce remodelling and
- Promote stronger leadership and management
The Challenge
Across the range of services provided to children and young people in Northamptonshire we need a career framework and development programme that will enable people to develop their potential and take on more senior and specialist roles.
We will work to ensure that all those working with children and young people understand their role and responsibilities In this way we aim to ensure that all those in the workforce will have the knowledge, skills, training and qualifications to play a full part in the provision of quality services and improved outcomes for children and young people.
Our Workforce Reform strategy document sets out how we shall deliver these aspirations
