Family Partnership Model
The Family Partnership Model (FPM) is an internationally recognised, evidence-based programme for ‘helping professionals’ to examine and improve their everyday approach to partnership working. The approach was developed by Professor Hilton Davis at the Centre for Parent and Child Support through Guy’s Hospital, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. See link below.

National Family and Parenting Institute
An independent charity which was set up to provide a strong national focus on parenting and families in the 21st century. The Institute's role is to bring together organisations, knowledge and know-how to enhance the value and quality of family life, to make sure that parents are supported in bringing up their children and in finding the help and information they need. How can the capacity of statutory and voluntary agencies be developed to provide more appropriate programmes? Written by Helen Barrett and published in November 2003, this source book aims to facilitate access to the large amount of materials which are available and to establish how this information can be used to work with families 'at risk' of parenting difficulties. Parenting UK
The national umbrella organisation for those who work in parenting education and support. Founded in 1995, it brings together all those working or interested in this field, and has over 1,000 individual and corporate members across the UK and overseas. It works in partnership with other statutory and voluntary bodies.
