Anna Freud Centre is a children's charity with a longstanding and multifaceted commitment to the emotional well-being of children. The Centre provides help for parents experiencing difficulty with their infants and toddlers. There are activities for young people ages 14-18 and uniquely those with kidney disease. Therapy is also offered for specialist one-to-one help.

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is one of the largest social policy research and development charities in the UK , which conducts research and development programmes that seek better to understand the causes of social difficulties and explore ways of overcoming them. The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, is a novel, interdisciplinary, action orientated research organisation. Its purpose is to contribute to human wellbeing and development by advancing the theory, methodology and evaluation of change within and between groups, communities, organisations and wider society. They conduct research, consultancy, evaluation and professional development work to support change and learning.
Young Minds is the national charity committed to improving the mental health of all children and young people.
The Pen Green Centre has been working in partnership with parents for 25 years. Children and families are central to everything they do, from the work within a children’s centre to the professional development provided through a research base. By developing practitioner research within a children’s centre setting, and through training offered to both practitioners and parents they are able to help Pen Green and other children’s centres to constantly reflect on and review their practice.
