The Local Safeguarding Children Board offer various services for adults and children alike:
- Adults working with children and families
Everybody has a part to play in protecting and safeguarding children. Information concerning crucial elements of child protection such as: shared roles and responsibilities, recognising signs of abuse and the child protection process.
- Parents and carers
Parenting is the most important influence on children and their development. Find agencies that deal with issues involving children offering parents and carers’ advice and support.
- Young people and children
Are you a young person or child who wants to know more about child protection? Sometimes, adults or other young people can hurt children or make them feel bad or afraid. This shouldn’t happen, but if it does help is at hand to give you the information and support you need to make it stop, whether this be bullying, physical abuse or you have concerns over drugs.
