Who do we provide services for?
- Children in our care - we have a duty to act like a responsible parent, offering the right type of care and support at all times.
- Children with disabilities
- Children and families in need of support during difficult times, such as bereavement.
- Children as risk of being abused or harmed
- Children and young people who need help to live in the community of when they leave our care
- Children who repeatedly offend, to help prevent reoffending
How can you get help?
- Step One - If you think you need our help, your first step should be to telephone or visit one of our local offices. In some cases someone may contact us on your child's behalf.
- Step two - You will have the opportunity to speak with a duty social worker who will listen to what you have to say and will take down the details.
- Step three - From this first discussion, the duty social worker will be able to tell you whether we can help or whether you may benefit from the help of another organisation.
- Step four - If the duty social worker feels that we are able to help, an initial assessment will take place. This will show us what help and support you and your family might benefit from.
