The Heritage Education Service aims to make the collections of the Northamptonshire Record Office available to school children of all ages.

The Heritage Education Officer is happy to offer free help and advice to teachers wishing  to use our services.

In addition we provide a range of National Curriculum linked workshops and classroom resources to enable teachers to use archival documents and images in the classroom.

The resources use original documents from the collections held at the Record Office to bring the past to life.

We will hold an INSET day at the Record Office for teachers on Monday 26 April 2010, between 2 and 4pm. For more information please contact the Heritage Education Officer.
