A list of the parish registers in the Record Office, showing the dates covered, can be viewed on the link below. These registers are preserved securely in our purpose built repositories. Please note that the parish records for Finedon are held locally.
Most of these are available to view on microfiche in the Index Room.
We have a programme of copying registers onto microfiche when they are deposited, but it can take a few months for this to happen.
Original registers can only be viewed if they have not been put on fiche. You may also purchase copies of fiche to use at home, but please contact us to check whether the register you require is available on microfiche.
