Sunday 14 February is St Valentine's Day. Amongst the collections at the Record Office is an example of a nineteenth century Valentine's Day card. We have also discovered a story of love and rejection in nineteenth century Northampton!

We hold a variety of original records which are available to view at the Record Office.
- Research Service
Looking into your family history? Starting your house history? Got local history questions? We are here to help with your research. We also have an extensive library covering a range of subjects to assist you in your research.
- Search Room
You can look at any original documents you have requested, we can provide digital or photocopies on request. Two Peoples Network computer terminals are available and you can use your own laptop.
- Index Room
The Index Room holds catalogues and indexes to our collections. This is also where our microfilm and microfiche readers are located.
- Talks, group visits and exhibitions
Members of staff will give talks and groups are welcome to visit for tours behind the scenes.
- Heritage Education Service
Our Heritage Education Service makes the collections of the Record Office accessible to school children of all ages.
