"I was honoured to be chosen as the Chairman of the county council in May and really enjoyed taking part in the charity 'Civic Cycle' in October as it was a great personal achievement for me to complete this 20 mile route.
However, the greatest achievement of all is to have raised so much money for these charities who play an important part in helping people in our county get the right help and support they need".
