Who are our regulators?

Our main regulators are:

• The Audit Commission
• Ofsted – The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills 
• The Care Quality Commission for Social Care Inspection

Comprehensive Area Assessment

Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) is the new way of assessing local public services in an area. It was introduced in April 2009
