Your child's school will be notified of your eligibility on the same day that we authorise your application. However, we advise you to contact the school directly to find out when the free meals will start as some schools have to order meals a week in advance.

If your child attends a non-cashless secondary school they will need an ID card to access their meal in the canteen. You will need to provide a photo of them to obtain an ID card.
