The Teach Northamptonshire Leadership Network provide information and support for New Headteachers.

We congratulate new and acting headteachers who have recently been appointed into our schools, but recognise this is the beginning of the journey and not the end. Our aim is to make your induction process as smooth and successful as possible, working with you towards continuing improvement in our schools.

We currently arrange mentor support where required and a schedule of meetings that are designed to cover the main elements of successful headship. Support is provided by the LA in such key areas of Leading change, Finance, Teaching and Learning, HR, and Governance.

Our network of new and experienced heads ensures there is always a helping hand until you become more confident in your new role.
