Determined admission arrangements for 2013

All Admissions Authorities (the council in the case of Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools and the Governors of Foundation, Voluntary Aided Schools and Academies) have a responsibility to consult annually on their admission arrangements for the following year.

The admission arrangements for Northamptonshire have now been determined for September 2013 intake.

Coordinated schemes

Changes to admission criteria and admission numbers

The documents below outline any changes to either admission criteria or admission numbers for primary and secondary schools.

The general information about Northamptonshire’s policies on School Admissions can be found within our two Information for Parents booklets 2012 (Primary and Secondary) below.

It is not proposed to alter these arrangements for 2013.  Where there are no changes to a school's policy (including published admission number) the arrangements as detailed in these booklets will apply for 2013.

Fair Access Protocol

Fair access protocols exist to ensure that all schools in an area admit their fair share of children with challenging behaviour. The following documents are the proposed protocol for Northamptonshire for 2013:

All of this information can be obtained in hard copy format by contacting the Admissions Team on admissions@northamptonshire.gov.uk

An objection to any of these admission arrangements must now be sent to the Schools' Adjudicator by 31st July 2012.
